Preparation of the Microsoft Teams tenant
Below steps are only required until the app is officially certified by Microsoft and available in the Teams app store. The 'staging' app will always require those steps!
Download of the App Manifest file
The manifest file contains the required information to integrate the app with your enterprise's Teams tenant.
- Microsoft Teams Approval App - Manifest.zip
- Version to be used for production environments
- Microsoft Teams Approval App (Staging) - Manifest_Staging.zip
- Must not be used for production
- Contains the latest functionality to get feedback
Integrate Manifest file with our Teams tenant
To make the personal app available to your end-users you need to upload the manifest file first. Use an administrator account of your tenant to to log on to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/.

Once you are logged on navigate to 'Teams Apps – Manage Apps' and use 'Upload New App' to start the upload.

Select and upload the Manifest downloaded before.

Once the upload is done the Matrix42 Approvals app is available for your end-users.

Make sure to adjust the permissions, in case you want to limit access to the app.
