In case of the file search, all subfolders are queried. If when executing Inventory (EmpInv.exe), the switch /V is used, then the version number can be read additionally.

Each property of the software is read automatically, but it can also be edited.

• Filename. File name of the software.
  Example: Outlook.exe
• Developer. Software developer
  Example: Microsoft
• Application name. Name of the software.
  Example: Microsoft Outlook
• Version. Software version.
  Example: 16.0.4705.1001
• Size. Exact file size of the software.
  Example: 23232512
  Example: If Outlook.exe is found in the specified size, then the application appears under Software in the Inventory.
  If only the file name is specified and all other fields are left blank, then the file only appears under Files.
• Create checksum. With this option, a checksum is formed over the included file.
