Creating a Configuration Group and Assigning Computers
It is not mandatory to assign the Empirum Server to a configuration group. The variables for the Empirum Agent can also be entered directly under the Empirum Server filter.
- Launch the Matrix42 Management Console, go to Management > Administration in the navigation pane (after a restart, this window is opened directly).
Create two additional configuration groups below Configuration Groups. - Right-click on Configuration Groups, select New Group (subordinated) in the context menu and enter the name Training for the new configuration group.
- Create another group with the name Server and Master below the Training group.
- Drag & drop your Empirum Server from the left window to the middle window.
- Right-click on your server (in this example, EMPSRV) and select Variables in the context menu.
