Device Configuration Groups
Device Configuration Groups are entities used in AirWatch MDM for grouping mobile devices.
Device Configuration Groups are not intended to be created or modified by users of Workspace Management.
They are created or updated as a result of an import from AirWatch MWM Data Provider.
Attributes of a Device Configuration Group can be reviewed in preview form shown in the screenshot below.

Ownership section contains information about Organizational Unit, Location and Cost Center the group belongs to.
General section contains information about main attributes of Device Configuration Group, like Name, Group ID, Status, Parent group etc.
Related Objects section contains information about related Devices and Services. Devices link is a link to Mobile Devices in Workspace Management that is imported from AirWatch MWM Data Provider and is enrolled to the current Device Configuration Group. Services link is a link to Services which provide enrollment of a mobile device to the current Group when being ordered.
Device Configuration Groups can be deleted from Workspace Management, but this does not affect AirWatch MDM environments which are connected with corresponding Data Provider.
If a deleted group still exists in AirWatch environment, it is recreated in Workspace Management during next synchronization.
Device Configuration Groups in Workspace Management which are deleted from AirWatch environment obtain Inactive status.
