Defines the commands of a tab as well as additional properties. Properties are defined by adding a leading '.'. Every property should only be defined once, but there can be as many command definitions as you like.

  • .TabIcon=File name[, Number]
Defines the small icon displayed to the left of the tab. Number defines the index in the icon file File name. If no number is specified, the first icon will be used. The numbering starts at zero.
  • .Icon=File name[, Number]
Defines the icon which is shown to the left of the description. Number defines the index in the icon file File name. If no number is specified, the first icon will be used. The numbering starts at zero.
  • .Description=Text
Defines the description shown above the list.
  • .GlobalGroup=\\Logon server\Group name[, \\Logon server\Group name …]
Defines global groups for the Windows workstation for which the tab is shown. Users who are not members of one of the groups will not see the tab unless they are defined as users in the LocalGroup or LocalUser property.
  • .LocalGroup=Group name[, Group name …]
Defines local groups for the Windows workstation for which the tab is shown. Users who are not members of one of the groups will not see the tab unless they are defined as users in the GlobalGroup group or LocalUser property.
  • .LocalUser=User name[, User name …]
Defines Windows workstation, for whom the tab is shown. Users not listed here will not see the tab unless they are defined as users in the GlobalGroup or LocalGroup property.
  • .CheckFile=File name
Specifies the name of a file or directory for which a user has to have read access rights to see the tab. The switch UseExecuteRight also has an influence to the performance check of CheckFile.
  • .Windows 2000=[0|1]
The tab will only be shown under Windows 2000 if the value is set to 1. If the value is set to 0, it will not appear. If the property is missing, the value 1 is presumed.
  • .Windows XP=[0|1]
The tab will only be shown under Windows XP if the value is set to 1. If the value is set to 0, it will not appear. If the property is missing, the value 1 is presumed.
  • .Linux=[0|1]
The tab will only be shown under Linux (from version 9.0 and higher) if the value is set to 1. If the value is set to 0, it will not appear. If the property is missing, the value 1 is presumed.
  • .Distribution=[0|1]
If the value is set to 1, the tab only appears if the software is going to be distributed. Otherwise, the tab is invisible. If the property is missing, the value 0 is presumed. This allows you to define software tabs that cannot be installed by the users themselves.
  • .Check=[0|1]
If the value is set to 1, the applications of this tab will be checked against the user rights. For tabs in which all applications are visible to all users (e.g. printer installations), this value could be set to 0, which will accelerate the time for checking significantly. If this property is missing, the value 1 is presumed.
  • Section=Application name
Defines an application that will be seen by the user in the list as Name. In Section, more details of the application are defined. There can be multiple lines like this.
