Overview
User Overview report provides administrators with a detailed overview of the user's details and their associated permissions within the Enterprise Service Management applications
Key metrics and tracked data
The report is available in the Administration application → Reports → User Overview and has the key metrics and visualizations as described below.
By default, the user is not pre-selected, and the report is empty.
The report can be filtered by the following criteria:
- Keywords
- User
The report displays detailed information about permissions and access to all objects where you can Set Audience. If you need a report on a specific area only, e.g., Navigation Items, adjust the report with standard Dashboard and Report actions like Edit, where you can specify which widget instances to show or hide, and then use Print, Export, Send Report actions, etc. See also, Managing Dashboards and Reports in New Look: Actions.
The User Overview report includes the following information:
- Details: displays name, e-mail, cost center, organizational unit, location, status, and employment type.

Previews: a list of preview layouts that are available for the selected user. See also, Preview.

Configuration Items permissions: a list of Configuration Items that are available for the selected user and assigned permissions, including read, insert (create), write, and delete. See also, Security Management: User Roles and Permissions.

Dialogs: a list of dialog layouts that are available for the selected user. See also, Dialog.

Data Queries: a list of Data Queries that are available for the selected user. See also, Data Query.

Filters: a list of filters that are available for the selected user. See also, Search Filters.

Actions: a list of actions that are available for the selected user. See also, Actions.

Navigation Items: a list of navigation items that are available for the selected user. See also, Navigation Items.

Dashboard Widgets: a list of widgets that are available for the selected user. Widgets are reusable and configurable visual components designed to display data or other content in dashboards and reports. It can be described as a template or a building block that defines what kind of data visualization can be shown (e.g., a bar chart, a metric card, etc.) See also, Widgets: Standard Widgets Library & Configuration.

Signatures: a list of e-mail signatures that are available for the selected user. See also, E-mail Signatures.

Widget Instances: a list of widget instances that are available for the selected user. A widget instance is a configured version of a dashboard widget that shows specific filtered data.
