Overview
The Plans section under SaaS provides a centralized overview of all discovered SaaS Plans in your environment, along with associated user activity.
SaaS Plans Table
The SaaS Plans table allows you to monitor users and usage data for each Plan.
Default Columns
The following columns are available in the table by default.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Publisher | The name of the Publisher of the Product. |
| Product | The name of the SaaS Product (for example Photoshop, Jira). |
| Plan | The name of the SaaS Plan (type of Subscription). |
| Available | The total number of Seats available for the Plan. |
| Assigned | The number of Seats assigned to users. |
| Unassigned | The number of Seats not assigned. The vendor API reports spare Seats not attached to any user. The system flags these as unused and potential savings. |
| In Use | The number of assigned Seats with recent activity (< 60 days) detected from a primary source (API or SSO). |
| Unused |
The number of assigned Seats with no recent activity from a primary source in the past 60 days. Even if other sources show activity, the license is treated as idle. This factors in activities from all SaaS management connected sources. |
| Downgradable |
The number of Seats that can be downgraded. A downgradable Seat is an assigned plan where the user’s measured activity is lower than the feature set provided. For example, a Microsoft 365 E5 user who never touches the security features or uses only basic Power BI reports may be fine on an E3 plan instead. |
| No Data | The vendor API lists the Seat, but no usage appears in any source. |
| Annual Cost | The annual cost of the Plan. |
| Savings Potential | The total cost that could be saved for a Plan. |
| Annual Unit Price | The price per year for a single Seat. |
| Scope | Occasionally, SaaS portals may provide information about the team or organization where the plan is available. |
Filter Data
To quickly navigate through available subscriptions and highlight specific data from the table, you can use various filtering methods:
- At the top of the table, use the Plans in risk of true-up predefined filter to view Plans that are close to reaching the available Seats limit.
- Expand the Filters toolbar on the left side of the table. Here, you can use Edit Query to create custom filters. You can see both custom and predefined filters in the Filters tab.
- Additionally, you can sort entries by column, alphabetically, and more, by clicking on column headers and picking an option from the context menu.

SaaS Plans Preview
The SaaS Plan preview displays data for each Plan, as well as optimization opportunities.

Use the Context Menu
You can right-click on an item in the table to display a context menu. The menu contains additional tools for managing details for a Plan:
-
Export: Lets you export data for one or more Plans to an Excel, CSV, or XML file.
