New Feature

Permission Status Indicators for Screen Sharing & Remote Control

What's New

We added permission status indicators in the FastClient and FastMaster sidebar for Screen Sharing and Remote Control. The indicators provide real-time visibility into whether the required system permissions are granted and offer a quick way to check or request missing permissions.

Why It Matters

Users can immediately identify missing permissions before starting a session, reducing setup issues and making permission management more intuitive.

Impact

  • The green checkmark indicates that the required permission is granted.
  • The warning indicator highlights missing permissions.
  • The loading indicator shows when permission status is being verified.
  • You now have one-click access to recheck permissions and guide users through granting missing permissions.

Responsibilities

End users may need to grant the requested permissions in the operating system settings when prompted.

Improvements

  • Improved keyboard support in macOS Ad Hoc sessions by fixing issues with keyboard shortcuts and adding support for common macOS commands such as Cmd+C, Cmd+A, Cmd+X, and Cmd+V in full screen mode.
  • Enhanced macOS 27 (GoldenGate) reliability during installation.

Bugs Fixed

  • Fixed an issue that could cause FastMaster and FastClient to crash on startup on macOS 15.7.7 & 15.7.9.
