Each task to be executed via the Empirum Interface Service requires certain parameters, which must be entered into the three tables in the Empirum database. Alternatively, these actions can also be allocated via an XML file.

The tables of the Empirum Interface Service are stored in the database of the respective Empirum location. To execute an action via the Empirum Interface Service, the respective parameters must be written into the following three tables:

• EmpExtSubscribers: This table contains information on the system that defines jobs for the Empirum Interface Service.
• EmpTaskQueue: This table contains the actions or tasks that shall be executed via the Empirum Interface Service.
• EmpTaskParam: This table is used to define the parameters required for an action.
