Besides computers and handhelds, all other devices (assets) that cannot be administered with Empirum can be managed with Empirum Inventory. In order to do that, freely definable device categories, as for instance Beamers or Routers can be added and the devices can be grouped under them.
- Change icon... Here you can set any icon for a device type from a file.
- Variables... Here you can assign variables to a device type, that have been previously defined in the menu Extras > Settings > Variables.
