After installing Matrix42 on the server, the EmpLocations database must be created first. By clicking the Create... button, you will create the EmpLocations database with the appropriate DSN. The EmpLocations is required to create a location database or additional location databases.
The EmpLocations database serves to manage the locations. This database should be created on the first Empirum server (central server).
Additional Empirum servers at other locations will log on to this EmpLocations database. To do so, you have to create a DSN for the EmpLocations database on the central Empirum server.
Subsequently, the multi-site view can be activated in Empirum Management.

- Click Yes.
The EmpLocations database has to exist or to be created before the location database(s) can be created.
If you use Windows authentication when creating the EmpLocations database, you must also use it for the locations. Ensure that the same authentication method is used for EmpLocations and the locations in DBUtil. This does not apply for the Empirum Management Console, where you can use a combination of the two methods.
A dialog appears, which allows you to log on to the database server.

- Enter the parameters required for the installation of the EmpLocations database.
If the Empirum database is to be installed on a remote computer, the Login to Remote Computer check box has to be activated and the log-in information has to be entered.
