Creating a New Database User

To create a new database user, proceed as follows:

Select Actions > User management…
The User Management dialog box appears:
Click New.
The Add new user dialog box appears.
Under Password and Retype password, enter the password for the database user to be created. Confirm your settings with OK.
- Username: Name of the database user to be created
- Roles: Serves to configure the rights of the selected users. For additional information, see Section User Management > Roles Tab.
  The database user is created.
  Each newly created user is automatically member of the role EMP_READ_ONLY. As a result, a new user has the right to start the Matrix42 Management Console.
  
  Now, the newly created user will appear in the Users tab.
Confirm your settings by clicking OK.
