The UEM Agent Windows is based on the Advanced Agent.

It is planned to change some functions in the future or to implement new functions only there and to develop the UEM Agent as the sole Software Management agent.

The Advanced Agent will continue to be supported until further notice. In the future, only bug fixes and, if necessary, adjustments to new platforms will be implemented.

• Postpone to a date as another distribution option
• The user can postpone to shutdown
  (after an automatic logoff all packges will be installed and the computer gets shutdown)

  (30 minutes, 2 hours, 4 hours at shutdown and the next day)
• Installation time frames will be considered
• Automatic registration of the computer during the initial installation of the agent with a "basic inventory"
• The MSI for initial installation now contains VCRedist and can be installed directly on a "fresh" Windows 10
  (perfect for Windows autopilot feature with Silverback)
• A global "Silent" switch ensures trouble-free installations without permanent window displays
• Detection of metered connections to prevent package downloads via cellular data connections
