Adding Variable Configurations
How to add a variable configuration to a group:
- Select the variable configuration to be added to a group.
- Drag and drop the variable configuration into the group.
or
Right-click the Configuration variable and choose Copy from the pop-up menu. Then right-click the desired group and choose Paste from the pop-up menu.
The variable configuration is displayed in the respective group.
Example:
The variable configuration OSInstall is assigned to the group OS Install.

It is possible to assign a different variable configuration to a higher-level group than to the lower-level group.
If a variable configuration is assigned that still contains missing variable definitions, the following query occurs:

A maximum of 5 missing variable definitions are displayed.
If a variable configuration is assigned that contains variables that are already assigned via another configuration (but may contain different values), the following query occurs:

A maximum of 5 already assigned variables are displayed.
