Enter the general job settings:

Included IP Addresses. Specify the IP subnetworks, IP domains or individual IP addresses to be inventoried, separated with commas. Detected subnetworks will also be inventoried, e.g., via routers and their IP tables.
In principle, IP-addresses can be entered one by one or in the CIDR notation:
192.168.100.0/24, 192.168.0.0/16, 192.0.0.0/8
Find more information about the notation under http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CIDR
The asterisk ’*’ is used as a wild-card for IP addresses and must be used as follows:
Examples: 192.*, 192.168.*, 192.168.100.*
The value after the asterisk is cut until the next comma. - Exclude IP Addresses. Specify the IP subnetworks, IP domains or individual IP addresses to be excluded, e.g., IP 127.0.0.1.
- Retries. The number of retries specifies how often the service tries to get information via Ping, SNMP and WMI.
- Timeout in sec. The timeout value specifies the waiting time in seconds between the attempts.
- Max. Process Count. One process corresponds to one IP address. The maximum number of parallel processes specifies the number of IPs to be scanned simultaneously with the selected scan method.
The maximum number of processes is possible from 1 to 99. The more processes are executed parallel, the network and the server, where the service is running, work to capacity.
