In the SNMP Routes group field you can select the allowed IP addresses and the number of hops:

- Allowed IP Addresses. Enter IP subnets, IP sections or individual IP addresses to limit the inventory of devices to be scanned. Allowed IP addresses function as a whitelist or positive list, i.e., you specify the IP subnets, IP sections or individual IP addresses that you deem trustworthy.
- Max. Hop count. In case of hops from one IP subnet into another subnet, you define the maximum number of hops permitted. This happens, for instance, if you encounter a router whose IP table is to be included into the inventory.
