What are Action Credits?
Action Credits are used to measure, track, and bill the consumption of generative AI-based features and capabilities. Action Credits are available with any active purchase of an Action Credit subscription.

Could you clarify the purpose of Action Credits?
Features powered by generative AI tend to require more computational resources than traditional features. Generative credits provide a way to reflect the additional cost and value of those features and give you a way to keep track of how you have been using them.
How do I get Action Credits?
Action Credits are available as dedicated subscriptions at Matrix42. The number of Action Credits allotted to each subscription varies. The consumption itself depends on the generative AI feature used.
Could you please clarify the process for consuming Action Credits?
Please note that Action Credits are consumed when features powered by generative AI are used. Triggering the feature can be fully manual or semi-manual.
For instance, if you generate a Ticket summary (fully manual action) using the AI Assist bar, it will consume one Action Credit.

How many monthly Action Credits do I get in my plan?
Matrix42 Action Credit subscriptions include a plan-specific number of monthly added Action Credits.
When do my Action Credits renew?
For customers with a paid subscription, Action Credits renew each month on the first day of the month.
Do Action Credits roll over month to month?
Yes, Action Credits not used do roll over to the next month.
Your Action Credit balance will reset to 0 at the end of the one-year subscription period.
In the event of excess usage of Action Credits during a given month, the available Action Credits for the following month will be adjusted accordingly to reflect the reduction.
How do I check how many Action Credits I have remaining?
You can view your Action Credit count in the Administration area of Matrix42 Enterprise at the Consumption Dashboard. Please find more details in the dedicated documentation page.
What happens if I use all my generative credits?
Action Credits roll over each month and do allow over-usage during the active month. Features will still be available in the event of excess usage during a given month.
Additional Action Credits packages need to be purchased in cases where the balance doesn't show a positive amount of Action Credits at the end of the yearly subscription period.
What about future generative AI capabilities and functionalities?
We might introduce new features in the future that may incur additional Action Credits per use or additional costs.
