In the Licenses application, at Software Compliance > Compliance per Organizational Unit, you can review whether software products assigned to various organizational units in your environment are compliant. By default, the table only displays the Global organizational unit, but you can manage this in the Master Data application.

Use Organizational Units for Compliance Reporting

To use more Organizational Units for Software Compliance, do the following:

  1. Access the Master Data application.
  2. Go to Organizational Structure > Organizational Units.
  3. Select an Organizational Unit from the list, then click Edit.
  4. On the General tab, enable Use for Software Compliance Reporting.
  5. Click Save & Close.
  6. Go back to the Licenses application, and you will see the updated Organizational Units listed in the Compliance per Organizational Unit table.

For a Software Product to appear in the Compliance per Organizational Unit table, you need to set the Reporting Scope:

  1. At Licenses > Software Compliance, select a Software Product to view.
  2. Click to expand the list of available actions.
  3. Click Set Reporting Scope.
  4. Select Include Software Product to Reporting.

The data is not immediately visible, but will be updated within 60 minutes. Alternatively, you can manually trigger the activation for the License Management - Update Reporting Data engine.
