New Feature
New Screen Grabber Technology
We have implemented a new screen grabber technology to improve performance and stability.
For compatibility reasons, you can switch back to the legacy grabber if needed. Follow these steps:
- At portal.fastviewer.com, go to Settings > General > ForceLegacyGrabber > Desktop Sharing.
- Check the box for Force legacy grabber.
Improvements
- The support for Mobile Device Management (MDM) integrations was enhanced.
- We optimized the usability of the MDM permission dialog.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue on macOS where the status bar icon disappeared after closing the menu.
- Client dropdowns now display the user who is actively sharing and controlling the session.
