If the EmpLocations database has been created with Windows User Authentication, you can add users and groups to the location database via the Browse button.

1. In order to add a user, in the Matrix42 DBUtil main window, click on Actions > User Administration... in the Users tab, on the New button, and then on the Browse button.
   You get to the window for searching the Active Directory Services (ADS).
   
2. Via the Locations... button, select the search path and enter the users directly in the free field, or search the users via the Advanced... button, and then via Find Now. Select the desired users/groups, and confirm with a double click on the OK button.
3. Now select for each user or group the desired permissions via the pre-defined database roles.
   
4. Confirm the dialog with OK.

This user can now log on to the Matrix42 Management Console with the permissions granted by you.
