To modify the roles (Rights) for multiple user, proceed as follows:

1. Select the Actions > User Management... menu.
2. Go to the Roles tab.
   
3. Click Edit in the Roles tab.
   
   Each user is a user in the database and can belong to one or more roles.
4. Under Users in this role, select the user to whom the role is to be added and confirm with OK.
   

   This dialog box allows users to check which database user has rights for which role and whether the rights for this role have been extended with additional roles.

The parameters of the dialog are:

• Role name: Displays the selected role that is to be modified.
• Users in this role: You can add further users to this role. Click on the user you wish to add. The user has been added if his checkbox is checked.
• Roles in this role: Under Roles in this role, you may extend the rights of the selected role (in the example: EMP_C_DISTRIBUTION). To do so, click on the respective role. The roles have been added if the checkbox of the role is checked.
