To add a new LDAP server, proceed as follows:

  1. Click the DBUtil_Hinzufuegen button to go to the LDAP dialog window.
  2. Enter the login information for your LDAP server.
    1. LDAP-Server:
      1. Servername
        Server name or IP address of your ADS server.
      2. NetBIOS Domain (This name is used to synchronize objects. If new, it will be applied to the properties).
        NetBios domain name.
        Examples: 
        QA
        RD
    2. Login
      1. User name
        User that is authorized to synchronize all selected ADS objects.
        Examples: 
        testuser
        cn=testuser, ou=development, ou=matrix42, dc=de
        testuser@development.matrix42.de
      2. Password
        Password of the user specified above.
  3. Go to the LDAP synchronize groups tab.

You can only go to the LDAP synchronize groups tab, if the login information have been entered correctly and a connection to the LDAP server has been established!
