The DHCP options defined herein are read out after a DHCP request from a client and are written into the environment of the respective client by SwDepot.exe.
- Start Matrix42 DBUtil and log into your location database.
- Select the Menu Actions > Install/Configure Services.. > click the right mouse key on Empirum-PXE and select DHCP Options.
The DHCP Options dialog helps you to define new variables, edit or delete existing variables. - Click Add.
- DHCP Option: Freely definable options from number 128 to 254.
- Name: Variable name.
- Default Value: Variable value.
- Enabled: The DHCP option has been declared, but is not used yet.
- Enter a name for the variable and its value, and click OK.
- Close the DHCP options dialog via the OK button.
