To import an existing, external Matrix42 database, please proceed as follows:
If you work with more than one Empirum installation with one EmpLocations database each, and if you wish to administrate these modules centrally, you can import the distributed locations via this button into a central EmpLocations database.
Subsequently, you have to import these locations in the Matrix42 Management > Administration via Tools > Select Locations.
- Select Actions > Import Location.
For each location to be administrated via this console, the corresponding DNS has to be created manually. This process to create a DSN has to be executed for each location database that you want to import.
