This is how you create a new device type:
- In the menu Extras > Settings > select Miscellaneous Devices.
You get to the Properties dialog:
- Click on the

symbol for creating a new device type.
- Enter the name for the device type in the Device type field (e.g. Projector).
- Change icon…: Here you can set any icon for a device type from a file.
- Variables...: Here you can assign to a device type variables, which have been previously defined in the menu Extras > Settings > Variables.
