General Settings for the Installation and Configuration of Services
Settings, which are selected here applied for all services, as far as explicit no other logon information for the relevant service is registered.
- Service Server: Names of the server on which the services are to be installed.
- Operating System Login Name: User Account to install the services on the services server.
If UAC (User Account Control) is enabled and an account with local administration rights is used then it must be set a local computer policy so that access to the administrative shares during installation is guaranteed.
- Start -> Run "secpol.msc" starts the Local Security Policy.
- Navigate to Local Policies > Security Options..
- Set the policy "User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode" to "Disabled".
- Password: Password of the Operating System Login Name.
