The icons and the icon text on the Empirum Administration interface change their color and their symbols according to the settings you have made. In order to provide a quick overview of the different variants, all options are indicated with their meanings in this chapter. For descriptions of the individual actions, refer to the respective sections in the User Manual.

Color settings and icons in the left section of the Administration tab:

	(Red computer icon) Computers which have not yet been assigned to a group.
	(Red computer icon; gray activation status) Not assigned computers which can be booted via PXE.
	(Blue computer icon) Computers which have already been assigned to a group.
	(Blue computer icon; gray activation status) Assigned Computers which can be booted via PXE. Computers with a known MAC address which already exists in the database.
	(Red computer icon; red floppy disk) Computers which have been scanned into the database via PXE. Computers with a new MAC address.
	(Red server icon) Servers which have not yet been assigned to a group.
	(Red server icon; gray activation status) Not assigned servers which can be booted via PXE.
	(Blue server icon) Server which is assigned to a group.
	(Blue server icon; gray activation status) Assigned servers which can be booted via PXE. Server with a known MAC address which already exists in the database.
	Indicates an Apple Macintosh computer.
	Indicates a virtual machine.
	Indicates a Linux client.
	(Red user icon) Users who have not yet been assigned to a group.
	(Blue user icon) Users who have already been assigned to a group.

Color settings and icons in the middle section of the Administration tab:

	(Blue computer icon) Computer which is assigned to a group.
	(Blue computer icon, green arrow) Software distribution is enabled.
	(Blue computer icon; green activation status) PXE is enabled.
	(Blue computer icon; green note) Operating system installation is enabled.
	(Blue computer icon; green arrow, green activation status) Both software distribution and PXE are enabled.
	(Blue computer icon; green arrow, gray activation status) Software distribution is activated (PXE-enabled computer).
	(Blue computer icon; green note, green arrow) Both operating system installation and software distribution are enabled.
	(Blue computer icon; green note, green activation status) Both operating system installation and PXE are enabled.
	(Blue computer icon; green note, gray activation status) Software distribution is activated (PXE-enabled computer).
	(Blue computer icon; green note; green arrow; green activation status) Operating system installation, software distribution and PXE are activated.
	(Blue computer icon; green note; green arrow; gray activation status) Operating system installation and software distribution are activated (PXE-enabled computer).
	(Yellow computer icon) Computer which is assigned to a group from the filter Network (has no MAC address).
	(Blue server icon) Server which is assigned to a group.
	(Blue server icon, green arrow) Software distribution is enabled.
	(Blue server icon; green floppy disk) PXE is enabled.
	(Blue server icon; green note) Operating system installation is enabled.
	(Blue server icon; green arrow, green activation status) Both software distribution and PXE are enabled.
	(Blue server icon; green note, gray activation status) Software distribution is activated (PXE-enabled server).
	(Blue computer icon; green note, green arrow) Both operating system installation and software distribution are enabled.
	(Blue server icon; green note; green activation status) Both operating system installation and PXE are enabled.
	(Blue server icon; green note; gray activation status) Operating system installation is activated (PXE-enabled server).
	(Blue server icon; green note; green arrow; green activation status) Operating system installation and software distribution are activated.
	(Blue server icon; green arrow, green note; gray activation status) Operating system installation and software distribution are activated (PXE-enabled server).
	(Blue user icon) User who is assigned to a group.
	(Green user symbol) User which has been assigned to a group and activated.
	(Black icon text) Computer/user activated or not yet activated (everything correct).
	(Magenta icon text) Computers and/or users have been activated but not yet written to the storage medium.
	(Brown icon text) The configuration of the computers and/or users has changed (status of activation does not correspond to the present configuration).
	(Red icon text) Computer/user have been deactivated und through UNINSTALL deinstalled.
	(Black icon text) Standard distribution options (INSTALL UPDATE)
	(Blue icon text) No standard distribution options; not uninstall.
	(Red icon text) Package is uninstalled.
