The assignment of language pack imports is available at Empirum v18.0 Update 2.
Since Empirum v19.0, Windows 7, Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019 language packs can be assigned in addition to Windows 10 language packs.
The assigned language pack imports are used in WinPE-based OS deployment (from version 1.4.7) if the Matrix42 PreOS package LanguagePackInstallation is assigned. If an EmpirumPE-based deployment is performed, the language packs configured in the assigned OS template are used as usual.

How to add a language pack import to a group:

  1. Select the language pack import you want to add to a group.
  2. Drag and drop the language pack import onto the group.

The language pack import is displayed in the selected group.

Example:

The language pack import LP Windows 10 x64 German is to be added to the Accounting group.

Manager_065 Manager_066

It is possible to assign several language package imports to a group. Either the language package imports can be assigned directly to a group or they can be assigned to higher-level groups, with inheritance then taking effect in the subgroups.
During the operating system installation, the system only tries to install the language packages that match the operating system source used. Language packages with the wrong architecture are ignored.

Currently Empirum cannot distinguish between the release version of Windows operating system and language package imports. Therefore, it is currently necessary to assign only operating system imports and language pack imports with the appropriate release version, otherwise the unsuitable language packs will simply be ignored or not installed during installation.
