Select the SNMP settings in this group field:

- Use standard communities. In the superordinate configuration, SNMP communities have already been entered; they are basically effective for a job. If you do not want to use the SNMP communities specified in the configuration, disable the respective box. This activates the custom communities box.
-
Use custom communities. Custom communities are only enabled if the standard communities of a configuration shall not be used. Enter the custom communities respectively.
Custom communities are only valid for the job currently selected.
-
Import additional data. As a rule, values from the OID range are only read out and imported, if they have already been defined in the Overview of SNMP Rules and Mappings. Empirum's Device Discovery module comes with a standard list of SNMP Rules and Mappings. To add additional values from the MIB Browser, you must import these values. The Import additional data checkbox is used to define whether and when which device data shall be imported.
- Only for unknown devices. Only imports additional device data if the device type cannot be determined.
- Import all data. This option is enabled by default, which means that the complete OID range of a network device shall be imported. If you select the OID Range option, the OID range is activated.
- OID Range. The OID section is only activated if the Import all data option has not been selected. Specify the OID range to be imported.
